JUSTIFIED BY THE JUST

Our God is just and he justifies those who have faith in him. And being justified by faith, we have peace with Him. Conscience ceases to be our accuser. Judgement now decides for us who are sinners rather than against us. We are discharged and acquitted rather than convicted and condemned.

When God then justifies, who will bring any charges against those whom He has chosen whom he has arbitered for? God is our justifier. Who then is he that condemns?  And because God is my justifier, my Hope lives on not because I am not a sinner, but because I am a sinner for whom Christ on the cross, sacrificed his life. He paid the ransom that I may life. And when memory with deep sorrow for sin, looks back in search of past sins, it does this confidently without the fear of any penalty for sin, for Christ has settled the debt bill for the sin of the faithful to the last jot and tittle and has paid the divine prescription. And our God is not unjust to take a double payment for one debt. No soul who retains his faith and for whom Jesus died can be thrown into hell because Jesus’ death has sealed the deed of his salvation.

I do not go away free because I am Holy, but because I am daily being made holy by Him whose nature is holiness-even the Lord God Almighty. Christ is my righteousness. My faith hasn’t the substructure of its own upon which to rest, but rest solidly upon him. Not even what I am, not what I shall be, feel or know can do the magic, but solely on what Christ is-the solid rock, what he has done, and what he is yet doing for me. Minus him, my faith stands on a sinking sand. Therefore because of Himand on Him the Lion of Justice, I the fair and mere maid of hope rides in queen like manner.

Do you have faith? Then keep it intact and never let anything erode or steal it. For it is what attracts God’s justification for you and me mere and perpetual sinners.

Good enough, Christ is ever ready to justify any faith driven penitent sinner.

I AM ONE? ARE YOU ONE?
“TO BE JUST AND ONE JUSTIFIES THOSE WHO HAVE FAITH “—Romans 3:26
