MEET THE TRIPODAL FIGURE

The phrase “The way, the truth and the life” according the Christian Bible and the Christian Faith, points to no other person than the person of Jesus Christ the King of kings and the Lord of lords. For it is him who in making this assertion, begins with the words “I am” so that the complete phrase is “I am the way,  the truth and the life—John 14:6a

Here Jesus points to himself as the only way, the only truth and the only life, therefore he declares “No one comes to the Father except through Me”—6b.

Jesus’ declaration here leaves us with no “way” option, “truth” alternative nor “life” other choice except that of rejection. We either accept him as God or reject him as megalomaniac without a third alternative; to call him crazy or crown him king; dismiss him as a fraud or declare him God; to walk away from him or bow before him; and never contemplate being up to games with him. Never you call him a great man neither dare you list him among your idea of descent folk. Jesus is either God or godless; heaven sent or hell born; He is either all hope or all hype. When you believe him you accept him for who he really is or couch yourself in unbelief and reject him for what you tag his claims.
As believers, you and I have since had the matter of who Jesus is already settled and what a privilege? We no longer have to struggle with what undecided men struggle with. Would we then by our lives daily demonstrate to the on looker and seeker that Jesus the way, the truth and life lives in us by being righteous in all we do as we point them to Him who is the way, by representing the truth as we declare nothing but the truth when the truth is needed, and by injecting life and giving life where we meet dead and hopeless situations, for that is what Jesus came and did in our world-pointed to the way, established  the truth and to gave us life.

Would someone find the way today because of me? Would someone know the truth and be set free today because of me? Would someone find life because l have Christ living in me?

Today make it your joy to point someone to Jesus the only means to the Father and the sure way to life eternal.
